What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)? 

Platelet-rich plasma is prepared by taking a sample of the patient's blood. 
The blood is then processed via centrifugation. 
This process separates the platelets from platelet-poor plasma. 
The PRP is then collected and applied to the site being treated, for example the scalp. 

What are platelets? 

Platelets are filled with growth factors that will help to stimulate hair growth. 
These growth factors help to stimulate the development of new hair follicles and improve the health of existing ones.
